... Upon opening their doors for the first time, these children continued to visit the residence, confident in receiving the much-needed help from this family. This same group took on the task of being spokespersons for other children and youth in the same situation children who slept in the Coleo Ring and the McDonald's in San Juan de los Morros, as both were very close to the De Nicoló Fitt family's residence. In less than six months, the group of children gathered in that garage increased to more than 50. It is noteworthy that these were children who stayed away from their homes due to situations of abuse, poverty, violence, among other issues. In response to the pressing need among the children, work began that went beyond financial assistance and food. The opportunity to contribute socially was opened, and the initial children who inspired the formation of the association in 2004 A.D. were assisted. The association was named "Streets of Gold and Crystal Sea for the Children of Guarico." Initially, they were provided with clothes and meals, guided in Christian education, and offered a space to share and discuss their realities. They were informally instructed, with the support of the Church Like Eagles in San Juan de los Morros, Guarico State, Venezuela. Motivated by the beautiful and fruitful work initiated and seeing the favorable response in the change of behavior in the children, in 2005, the attention was shifted to the facilities of the Christian Church Like Eagles. This move was prompted by the significant number of children who began attending the program, and more people were incorporated into the team.
