Seeing this growth, the need arose to create different types of attention programs. The initial group of 50 children was reintegrated into the school system and their families through follow-up School for Parents and counseling. Once the children were back in school, the P.A.N. Program "Children's Feeding Program" had to be established because the children were not performing well academically and were experiencing hunger, sleepiness, and discouragement to the point of vomiting and fainting in schools. We began providing breakfast to 300 children in poverty daily in schools in San Juan de los Morros to prevent further dropouts. We maintained this program for 12 years.
Witnessing the favorable results in our work, Streets of Gold and Crystal Sea called upon Christian Churches in the city of San Juan de los Morros and surrounding cities to join forces to attend to an even greater number of children. Thanks to God, today we attend to 3,000 children in 5 states of Venezuela with the same vision and mission: To educate children to become great men." Proverbs 22:6.
Currently, through various programs carried out throughout the year, including neighborhoods, churches, high schools, and schools, more than 3,000 children and adolescents receive attention through Streets of Gold and Crystal Sea.
